I left Dubai when Trade Center was the tallest building, Jumeirah beach was the best place for the families. You could even find a 1974 Pegot Hatchback (with Egyptian families stuffed in it, going to Jumeirah beach ). The billboards along SZR, heck, billboards did'nt exist back then.
Now you know what am I going through. All these "right out of the showroom" lamborghinies, Range Rovers and Corollas. These needle shaped buildings, there is infact one coming up which looks like a guy in Arabic dress, palms and the worlds .... Wow ..... what happend there.
Double shock for me, I got married during this time, now there is what I call " Dubai Shock" and than there is a Personal Shock. I am still dizzy from these blows ... therefore help me get to the senses.
By the way whose ideas is to build a building shaped like an Arab guy? I wonder what kind of people will live in it. Hmmmmmm. I will leave you with that thought. Thanks for the company. Good Bye and Good Luck
